Visitors must obtain a temporary vehicle pass at the visitor center adjacent to the control point by presenting drivers license and vehicle registration.

Directions from I95/Route 1 South, intersection by Woodrow Wilson Bridge (Described)

• Take Route 1 South approximately 10 miles.
• Turn left onto Pohick Rd, into Fort Belvoir (There is a Burger King on the right hand side before you make the left)
• Follow Pohick Rd to the top of the hill, proceed through checkpoint, and make your first right, (just prior to the light) onto Theote Rd.
• Proceed approximately one-half mile to a stop sign at Warren Road and turn right.
• Proceed to Tompkins Basin, turning right at the intersection at the bottom of the hill.
• The new Indoor Range is the long white building (Bldg 778) on the right and set back from the road at the base of the hill. The new Fort Belvoir Archery Center is located in the same building.
• The field range is located one quarter of a mile farther at the end of the road that continues beyond the indoor range.

Directions from I-95 North/Route 1 intersection North of the Occaquan Reservoir/American Legion Bridge (Described)

• Take Route 1 North off I-95.
• Follow Route 1 approximately 6 miles.
• Pass Pohick road on the left.
• Pass Telegraph Rd. on the left.
• Pass the new Fairfax county Parkway on the left.
• Make the next right onto Pohick Road, into Fort Belvoir (There is a Hess Gas Station on
  the left hand side before you make the right.)
• Follow Pohick Rd to the top of the hill, proceed through checkpoint, and make your first right, (just prior to the light) onto Theote Rd.
